At a recent meeting a business associate of mine asked me why I thought he wasn’t getting many repeat visitors to his website and those that visited were not staying very long. After a few questions it became clear that he’d only spent a few hundred pounds on the website and it had been done by someone in Eastern Europe. So last week the team and I at Business Web TV (the video production division of Stuart Hirst) attended our first exhibition at the Royal Armouries in Leeds; the Buy Yorkshire Conference and Exhibition presented by the Yorkshire Mafia.

Everyone likes lists, and they like it if there are 10 items on it, so here goes…

The People. Do you get on with the people in the agency, the ones you will be working with on a day to day basis? Are they genuinely interested in your business and industry?
